I am a cross-disciplinary artist and researcher working with performance, image-making, film, and documentation based in Lincoln and working internationally. My practice is rooted in feminist and queer perspectives, and I use the body as a site to explore personal and collective memory, intimacy, the politics of gaze, and the ethics of representation.

For me, documentation and archives are never static but living, shifting, fluid processes that unravels other aspects of performance, keeping it alive and open.

I have shared this approach in universities and online platforms, teaching modules on documentation and archiving practices, and mentoring artists for over seven years. I see documentation as a practice of care and collaboration rather than simply preserving. Since 2011, I have been passionately documenting performances, workshops, and (inter)national festivals including: Venice International Performance Art Week (IT), CEREMONY curated by Future Rituals (UK), x-24 Festival (UK), Contact Festival Freiburg (DE), Theertha Performance Platform (Sri Lanka), and more.

In  In 2024, I received the St. Hugh Award to expand my feminist experimental documentary practice with which I produced my first short documentary: "BECOMING (AN)OTHER STORY: LENA" and in June 2025, I led and facilitated an online course: "Body of Document: Towards a cross-disciplinary Performance Documentation Practice" for the ECC performance platform.
