Situated between the fields of photography and performance, this practice-led research focused on the powerful role of the camera within the photographicprocess, seeking to sheds light on the elements that defines it as a phallic symbol.
The scope of the research was not only to address the masculine and phallocentric attributes of the photographic apparatus, but to respond, revisit and propose an original way to confront such issues.

'MetaReactions' is a project in which performance, photography, documentation and post-processing are interwoven in order to create an alternative imagery generated from the original live event revealing new ways of experiencing it.
The original photo are documentation of dance/ performances/ installations like: 'Conduit' by Kate Buckley,
'Domus' by Amy Hewitt,
'Oedipus' by Helena Bird,
'A.L.E (A Landscape Exhibition)' by General Practice collective,
'Body in Motion' variety of dance work from midlands-based Youth, University and Professional Dance artists.
'TRIALS' by 1st year BA Drama students (University of Lincoln)
