An exploration of the living microcosmos of an ordinary garden.
Capturing the motion in nature is like a meditation, a way to attune with yourself and your environment. The lenses of the camera bring you closer to the (in)visible element of the surrounding and its habitants...Suddently the ordinary garden of your house becomes a new world to explore...Objects, insects, leaves, colours, earth, roots, shells,bugs...they narrate their own spaceless and timeless stories...

Photo after the performance "Solve et Coagula" by/with Fenia Kotsopoulou and Enrico Pietracci.
Remains of a performance.Traces of two bodies moving in space, interacting in a alchemical dialogue about life and death...flour, pigments, water, and wine change shape creating micro landscapes
The camera is there to document and confirm that the performance died in time and at the same time gave birth to something else...

I want to look at my body in a different way...I don't want to see its integrity but how disappears in the space....a body that becomes one with the water, a body that its fragmented pieces in the spaces disclose the hidden emotion of inner disintegration.

Unstable roofs, colourful peeling walls, broken windows, the smell of the past and myself, wondering about the untold stories of the people who'd stayed in this abandoned house.

HYPERATHENS

Athens (Greece)
HyperAthens is a series of compound images, an attempt to portray the spatial complexity, the social diversity of the city and the inherent emotions emerging from the fusion of urban landscape and citizens. HyperAthens turns a mirror on the city and invites the viewer to consider both sides of the mirror : what is conventionally reflected, and at the same time the subject behind the mirror : the hidden world behind the frontage of austerity in the context of waning global significance as a historical centre of human endeavour.

A project in which performance, photography, documentation and post-processing are interwoven in order to create an alternative imagery generated from the original live event revealing new ways of experiencing it.
Attempts
Is it possible to capture the real beauty of the human soul? No, I don't think so...but it worth to keep on trying.
