1st PRIZE /AWARD-International competion of screendance - MOVIMIENTO EN MOVIMIENTO
"This Dance Has No End" (2018 | 10'59''): A tribute to the unforgettable artist, Diane Torr received the
1st PRIZE at the International screendance competition for the 7th edition of the festival MOVIMIENTO EN MOVIMIENTO (MEXICO).
This work would not have been possible without Daz Disley at my side- once again-, who so sensitively filmed my solitary performance for camera.
A single shot, a single dance, with no music, no editing,... and with no end..but only a pause. A pause to breath and then start again.

FORMENTERA
"FLUID BOUNDARIES" (2019)
A meditative performance starting with stillness immersed in the sea, holding a broken stone and gazing towards the unknown and moved by the gentle waves as my feet search-out roots unders the sand. A collective procession follows where with each step Formentera's landscape is reconfigured and maps are (re)traced. Itineraries dissappear as new ones are formed around the Torre des Pi des Català. In the shadow of the tower, brief rituals take place.

What could you find out if you sleep in Fluffy and cuddle with the pink little horse for 7 days? What secrets will Fluffy share with you and what kind of stories pop-up from the library and become reality during the night? And when you ask for bedtime stories, will you hear the voice of Fluffy itself·before you fall asleep?
Every day they discover more and more : during the nights, hairy deviances dance and masculine fairies whisper fairytales.
On Friday 25 January from 8:00 p.m. we invite you into a performative audiovisual get-together, with video by CUNTCINEMA and new fuzzy friends of Fluffy. CUNTCINEMA is the continuation of VULVOgraphy, the creation of a portable tiny cinema, which aims to display movies about identity, gender, body, shame and crisis.

[CORPOFESTO #2] - WE ALL BLEED THE S(H)AME
1. Internationales Performance Festival Weimar
For the occasion of Kaffee Kuchen Action Art III - Holding Space 1st International Performance Art Festival Weimar, the second CORPOFESTO has been emerged.
CORPOFESTO #2 “WE ALL BLEED THE S(H)AME” is a body of work focused on the notion of embodied shame and acts which externalise and neutralise it through rituals of removal.
The work is materialised through performance for camera and the creation of a series of prints, manipulated through manual intervention.
The seat of this work rests in the very sharing and diluting of our fears, and the juxtaposition of still and moving image aims to reinforce the message that the attempt might fail and the traces of shame remain, but the act of sharing, as simple and as difficult as it may be, can be the first step in a journey to ultimately free ourselves from that which is for the most part to the external eye : invisible.

What beauty feels like
REVIEW by FREEFLOWINGVISUALS
ART RESIDENCY AT F-L-A-T 5
For her Sofa Residency at F-L-A-T-5, artist Fenia Kotsopoulou will blend acts of courage and acts of removal, creating the ground for investigating body and shame. The residency will be an opportunity to experimentally explore issues around body-hair and other societally-unwanted features of our physical experience – those which give rise to feelings of shame.
Which are the roots of our shame and what does it take to eradicate them?
If shame was another tangible ‘body’, what form, colour and shape would it have? How would it sound, speak, or look like?

Telepresence: An experimental performance for (live) camera
Movimiento en Movimiento
"Telepresence: An experimental performance for (live) camera”, is an experimental live performance via Skype by Fenia Kotsopoulou and Daz Disley, selected for the 2017 edition of Movimiento en Movimiento, in Mexico.
Rooted in Kotsopoulou & Disley's first collaborations exploring absence, presence, and glitched mediation, 'Telepresence' takes a spontaneous live-approach to their previously editing-based techniques exploring the choreographies of fragmentation. This experiment, delivered as a quartet, explores notions of fragmentation and presence as mediated through video-chat, with additional and deliberate glitched interventions designed after some of the underlying errors that occur in video encoding, distribution, and reproduction. What does it mean to be present at distance ? How do we chose when and what to encode, to decode, to discard, and to classify as redundant ? ... and how does this constellation of psycho/techno perspectives impact on close-quarters dance performance ?

There is no limit to your 'love'
ZKM presents the tenth edition of TIME is Love Screening, international video art project gathering several artists. Established in 2008, the program has travelled to major cities in the world attracting a vibrant mix of media professionals, researchers, young people and families. The screening is accompanied by public discussions, demonstrations, talks and live performances.
Preoccupied with love, the project represents love stripped from its traditional clichés and timeless idealism. Each of the artists leads an interdisciplinary practice bringing a questioning and a criticism on a system of relation to others which appears to us as being dying.

INNER SPACE CATALOGUE
“INNER SPACE”: a photo project inspired by the concept of “non place” by Marc Augé, refering to places that can be not defined as relational, historical and concerned with identity. What might be a “nonplace” to someone can be a place to someone else. Abandoned places give the sensation of accumulated histories, familiar territories, forgotten places on the verge of regeneration where a”liminal” experience take place once you inhabit them.

"From a Greek Cunt's- Eye-View"
CUNT CINEMA - COMING SOON
Building on the work of my MFA performative reasearch/thesis " VULVOgraphy: performance and photography from a female point of view", I reverse the previous model I have created of "cunt as camera" and turn my cunt into a cinema. As a durational performer, I offer-up my body to the gaze (male, female, indifferent) and use my morphology as a viewing portal to video work reflective of current Greek issues, imagery, situation and outlooks.
The first (experiment) performance/installation will take place soon in London and will be based on a (video) collaboration with the Greek performance and visual artist: Apollvon S Delios! I'am excited. Of course, also in this case, Daz Disley will offer a valuable help to the construction of the CuntCinema model
